TRR:  Could you tell us about how your band formed and what inspired you to start making music together?

DO:  Our band formed out of friendship. We all kind of hung out in the same circles and liked the same kind of music. We started out just wanting to hang out with each other and jam but then it turned into a full-time gig and we couldn't be happier.

TRR:  What would you say sets your music apart from other emerging rock bands today?

DO:  In the beginning, we had a clean-singing male vocalist and a female screamer which gave us a different sound. These days we have developed our own version of metalcore altogether mixing a bit of several genres and techniques and defying what metalcore actually is.

TRR:  How would you describe your band's sound and style?  Are there any specific artists or bands that have influenced your music?

DO:  We are bringing back the 2000s metalcore sound as well as well as bringing in a very new modern sound to put it all together to make a very different heavy metalcore sound. We've been influenced by everything from Killswitch Engage, to Trivium, to Kittie, to In Flames, and beyond.

TRR:  All up-coming bands have their share of challenges.  What has been the biggest challenge your band has faced so far, and how did you overcome it?

DO:  Member changes, the pandemic, and just juggling schedules and personal lives, etc.  We just make sure that we put our family and friendships first, work very hard together to reach our main goals, and sacrifice the time and money that we need to keep going.

TRR:  Can you share a memorable moment from one of your performances or recording sessions that stands out to you?

DO:  One of our most memorable moments was playing our first festival. We played during the day and had no idea what to expect. We ended up playing for thousands and gained a ton of new friends from it. We'll never forget 2021!

TRR:  What are your short-term and long-term goals as a band? Where do you see yourselves in the next few years?

DO:  Short term, we're really working to pump out music that we're proud of and to make sure that we can play some of our favorite shows. Long term, hopefully creating more music, doing bigger shows, and maybe even making enough money to pay the bills. Either way, overall we just want to have fun doing what we love.

TRR:  How do you approach songwriting as a band? Is it a collaborative process, or does each member contribute individually?

DO:  It's always a collaboration of sorts. Usually, Josh, Joey, or Ryan will come up with a riff they enjoy, and Hogan will add some really killer drums, then I (MJ) will work on lyrics,  melodies, and hooks. Then, we'll bring it to the entire band, get thoughts, make changes, and go from there.

Thank you to our fans, for listening, supporting, and being there for us. Thank you for your time and giving us the opportunity.
